All year round, Porquerolles stays within easy reach.

It’s only a 20mn crossing, but you first need to get to the Tour Fondue, departure pier for the boats to catch.

Getting to the Tour Fondue:

By car
When arriving in the city of Hyères or when in the center of the city, just follow the road signs towards “Presqu’île de Giens, Tour Fondue”

It will take you to drive down the east side of the peninsula, passing the port and then through the villages of La Capte, La Bergerie and at last passing by Giens, before you reach La Tour Fondue (12 km).
Depending on the season, it will take you at least 15mn or much more to drive there.

In la Tour Fondue, you will find a choice of parkings.

The main shuttle boat line commutes you to the island after you parked at the south end of the wild Giens peninsula.
Schedule varies depending on the season; make sure to check on yours, specifically when you return from the island.

You need to schedule a 20 to 30 mn extra time between the moment you park and the moment the boat leaves: short walk, security gate and ticket purchase.
