Le Langoustier black beach

Sheltered from the winds, the black Langoustier beach is the least known of the Porquerolles beaches. And yet...

On the southern side of the isthmus, the blackish sand and gravel owe their color to the slag dumped in the 19th century by the former soda factory. And even if the image of the idyllic beach remains white sand and transparent waters, it's still one of the most pleasant. It is sheltered from the mistral and completely from the easterly wind.
