Thanks to the Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis, Hyères has improved its cycle network. The metropolis has now 269 km of cycle routes and of course a stunning coastline… Hyères has more than 30 kilometers of cycle paths or lanes. The routes are just waiting to be extended. This is one of the priorities for the city with the « Opération Grand Site ».

30 kilometers of cycle paths in Hyeres

A bicycle plan

Available in our brochure section, you can download a cycling map that lists all the existing cycling facilities on the TPM territory. It offers itineraries and practical information for cyclists (cycle parks, water points, etc). Its small format slides easily into your pocket. You can pick up the paper version at the Tourist Office. Once unfolded, the map gives an overview of the tracks throughout the entire conurbation. You will also find other information, such as hiking departures, orientation tables, viewpoints and locations of sports and cultural facilities in the metropolis.

When you ride a bike here, you go through the route of the old Provence railway. There are nearly 100 km of secure cycle paths between Six-Fours and Hyères. When the last part of Les Salins will be over, we will have a 120 km route from St Raphaël to the Toulon metropolis.

Transporting your bike

  • On maritime lines
You can transport your bike on the 8M, 18M and 28M shipping lines from Toulon to La Seyne-sur-Mer, les Sablettes and St Mandrier-sur-Mer. To go to Porquerolles (Porquerolles only) you will have to pay 17 € or 14.50 € to transport your bicycle (adult or child).
