Winery : Domaine Viticole de la Navicelle

Domaine de la Navicelle is located in the heart of Provence on the northern slopes of a massif called the Colle Noire, bordering the Conservatoire du Littoral. The vines are planted in terraces on heavy clay soils and a rocky subsoil of limestone, sandstone and shale. The northern exposure and the proximity of the Colle Noire protect us from the heat and allow us, without having to resort to irrigation, to obtain generous, complex wines with a beautiful minerality and a "terroir" identity. In total, the estate cultivates about 20 hectares of vines.
Different grape varieties are used: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Tibouren and Cinsault for the reds and rosés, Rolle, Clairette and Muscat for the whites.
In order to make the most of this exceptional terroir, we work in accordance with organic agriculture and have been following the principles of biodynamics for many years.
Our aim: to make the best wines in total harmony with the environment around us.
