Institut océanographique Paul Ricard

The mission of the Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute is to contribute to the knowledge and protection of marine environments in the Mediterranean. The museum supports awareness-raising activities by promoting the dissemination of knowledge.

A seafaring man, Paul Ricard created this association to fight against marine pollution in 1966, at the time of the first industrial pollution in the Mediterranean.
Since then, the Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute has dedicated itself to research and public awareness.
