There are days like today when someone shares a youtube video he shot around Porquerolles with us. Days like this when we feel like we could just leave everything behind to have such daily encounters and witness the wildlife beauty.

Enjoy this video shot on september 25th in the morning, by the Southern wall behind Porquerolles. Mickaël was cruising around the island with his sessa Key Largo and had the chance to see a pod of dolphins suddenly emerge from a perfectly calm sea. Such encounters can last 5 minutes or 1 hour, it’s up to the dolphins. As Hyères is part of the PELAGOS sanctuary such encounters are not unusual, but one thing is for sure; each interaction is special in its own way. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to witness dolphins and marine mammals in the natural habitat, close to Porquerolles. That’s why, some professionals, such as Beach Tours, offer whale-watching activities all year long.

Thank you so much for sharing Mickaël!
